Man dressed in ghillie suit gets hit by car

A big, Bigfoot fail.

If there is one thing that I love above all else about living in the Northwest, it's got to be Sasquatch related things. For one, of all fabled “cryptids,” it's the one biologists says has the highest possibility of being real, which simply points out that the environment is able to sustain and hide a population of intelligent apes that would have most likely been a relative of gigantopithecus, a massive Asian gorilla that was around at the time of human migrations in the last days of the Ice Age. We even have it as a protected species. The second joy comes from watching locals try and hoax, be it by leaving prints, or being in costume to see how many people flood the media with sightings.  Naturally the level of sophistication tends to reside with one's own intelligence. That said, a recent hoax attempt seemed to lack as such. On man in  western Montana decided it was a good idea to put on a ghillie suit (as seen above) one evening and pace along the highway. As one may expect when looking like a bush, on the side of a busy highway, in failing light, he was hit, not once, but twice and killed.

I don’t really like mocking death. I know people will suffer, yet the Darwin award is sometimes deserved and  I think this story is a good contender. Far too many bad ideas compiled all at once- all of which on their own should have had common sense behind them. This is why you do it in a remote area! And most things are smart enough to avoid highways for that very reason...except deer...but I've never considered them the brightest of creatures.
